I have been involved in the music industry for around 15 years now. In that time I have seen my material released with the world's leading record labels, appear on TV and film and even grace the UK top ten.
This success has led to me becoming a prolific writer, supplying content to magazines such as Music Tech, Music Tech Focus, Future Music, Remix and EQ magazines.
I also enjoy developing the skills of others. I teach on a one-to-one basis and I have recently become a trainer for Macprovideo.com. In this role I am producing video content for a global audience.
There isn't a piece of music software that I'm not intimately familiar with and I thrive on the cutting edge of music technology.
My client list is extensive but I regularly work with companies such as Music Tech Magazine, The Envato Network, Note Media and Macprovideo.com
Digital tutorials
I have a close working relationship with the Envato network and contribute step-by-step tutorials to Audiotuts+ on a weekly basis.
I have completed over 100 tutorials for them to date and have been with them since the very start. I am also proud to be a reviewer for their new +Tutorials Marketplace.
Magazine content
For some time now I have been contributing large amounts of content to both Music Tech Mag and Music Tech Focus.
I have also had my work published in a number of other magazines such as EQ mag, Remix and Future Music.
Online training and screencast
I have recently been appointed as a trainer for Macprovideo.com and am extremely happy to be part of their team.
I have just completed a 2.5 hour course on Reason 5's Kong drum designer and am currently putting together more in-depth content for them.
During my time as a producer I've worked under a number of different aliases and have had a long list of releases on both independant and major labels.
I have also been lucky enough to perform this material all over the globe, including headline gigs and residencies across the USA and Europe.
The player below contains a few choice cuts, including material used on CSI:NYC, tracks signed to Ministry of Sound and some remixes that entered the UK top ten.
Openair was a full-on commercial house project and saw releases on some of the most well known electronic imprints in the world. Under this moniker I completed remixes for Ministry of Sound, AATW, Positiva and Adhesive.
Original material and singles released under Openair included the massive Hi Roller (This Music) featuring Gramma Funk and a highly polished dance rework of Seven Nations Army, signed to Skint / Loaded. These and many other Openair releases were playlisted on major radio stations such as BBC Radio 1 and the Galaxy network.
MoHawk was always a more undeground project and saw original releases on Baroque, System (USA) and Subversive. MoHawk remixes were also released on many top electronic labels, including a remix of the mighty Shapeshifters on Positiva / EMI.
With their foundations in chillout and downtempo, Twisted Air projects were often destined for anywhere but the dancefloor. Several Twisted Air projects were signed to Global Underground and in turn licensed to a number of computer games and even appeared on CSI:NYC through Roxx Publishing and CBS / Sony.
